The most suitable type of open clamshell grab for excavation work in sand and clay and for loading kerbstones, railway sleepers, pipes etc. By fitting side plates that can be supplied separately you can also use the grab for loading gravel, stone chippings, silver sand etc. It can be used on (mini)excavators of 4000 to 7000 kg. It can also be used on backhoe loaders and lorry loading cranes. A central hoisting point on the inside of the grab is standard. The cylinder is equipped with two pistons, which means that the grab has a very good capability to penetrate. Teeth can be screwed onto the grab for working in heavy conditions, such as heavy clay. Ejectors to keep the clamshells clean are available as accessories. Very low maintenance requirements and durable.
